ℹ️Stats

Date: 2nd May 2022

Weather: dry, with an overcast, it wanted to rain. Lots of dark clouds 🌧

From: Menai Bridge

Start time: 9.30am

To: Dinas Dinlle

End time: 5.50pm

Accommodation: Pod - a bed, with electricity & a heater 🔥

Terrain: easy, low level walking, but few paths, often set back from the coast and mostly along cycleways and roads.

🥾Miles: 18 miles - my watch says 21!

🦶Steps: 44,025

🏔 Ascent: 200m

📚Guidebook Info:

Stage: 15

Pages: 117 - 122

Total miles on the WCP: 230/870

💰Costs: £45 - to stay in my tent was £30 - for an extra £15 I had a cabin with heating and electricity. I just could not bring myself to pay £30 for camping!

Subjective feeling out of 10 on:

Enjoyment: 5/10 - not the best day but not the worst

Fatigue: 3/10

Ease of terrain: 3/10 - it’s flat ground. But the roads and some of the tracks are really tough on your feet so my feet do feel a little bit bruised and quite sore.

Highlights - staying in the pod was nice especially as it has a heater. So I turned it up and was lovely and warm!

Challenges - A bit of a flat day especially after leaving Abbie and Eve behind. The weather was grey skies & misty which didn’t really help
