Enjoyment: 5/10 - the sunshine in the afternoon pulled it back from being a 2/10 day
Fatigue: 8/10 - didn’t sleep at all last night. It really affected me today.
Ease of terrain: 5/10
⭐️Highlights: looking back over how far I’ve walked. It’s pretty epic. Stunning beaches and an amazing views. It really is an incredible walk.
🏔️Challenges: after an hour of walking I felt horrendous. I felt so wiped out I needed to stop and set my tent up again. To lie down for three hours. Don’t know what came over me. I did not feel good.
💭Thoughts: I wanted to make sure I found somewhere earlier to wild camp this evening. I don’t want to deal with the stress of what happened yesterday.

Enjoyment: 5/10 the weather really affects my enjoyment. Even when I don’t want it to it does.
Fatigue: 5/10
Ease of terrain: 7/10 tough little ups & downs
⭐️Highlights: deciding to stay at the campsite was a win. I was able to put my tent up in a relatively sheltered area. I was all set up by 4 pm had an early afternoon nap which really helped with my recovery. I didn’t move until the following morning.
🏔️Challenges: it was such a long wet windy day. With lots of ups and downs. Tough going in places. Also. It able to take a huge amount of pics
💭Thoughts: I really do hope the weather improves. Being battered by the wind and rain all day is really really hard going. Plus, there is no way you can hide. You were just so exposed on the coastline. It’s also a shame as you don’t get to see the stunning views. It’s Head down, gotta keep moving to keep warm. You can’t stop or else you’ll get too cold. 🥶

Subjective feeling out of 10 on:
Enjoyment: 8/10
Fatigue: 3/10
Ease of terrain: 4/10
⭐️Highlights: seeing Lands End was really cool. The weather has been stunning, so glad I waiting for better weather to do this section.
🏔️Challenges: I didn’t want to queue or pay £10 for a photo at Lands End. I stopped at the hotel for some food. It was very expensive. So picked the cheapest thing I could find! Which was actually delicious 😋
💭Thoughts: when walking out in nature. It does give you the opportunity to really reflect. I mentioned at the start I have lots of things I’m trying to figure out. It all has to do with how I can fit adventure into my life as well as edit the podcast and edit the Vlogs and make money .
There are adventures I want to do in the future with different people in different parts of the world. And it’s trying to connect the dots and make it all work.
People may not realise this but I do need to plan 9 to 12 months in advance as I need to preload content and to give myself time to prepare.
There are a lot of moving parts. I can’t just disappear at the drop of a hat to take on adventures and challenges. There is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes. This is what I’m trying to figure out - how can I live this life of adventure and make it work.

Subjective feeling out of 10 on:
Enjoyment: 6/10
Fatigue: 3/10
Ease of terrain: 4/10 - a relatively straightforward and easy day. Especially the final few miles. Just along the promenade.
⭐️Highlights: nothing really stood out. You couldn’t see a lot of the scenery because it was so misty. It was head down and keep on walking until I got to the pub at midday.
🏔️Challenges: I did spend six hours in a pub using their Wi-Fi! I got there just before 12 o’clock had some lunch, blackcurrant and water, dessert and left just before 6 pm. But I have cleared 2 SD cards. And uploaded all the footage to dropbox it’s a good job done ✅ .
💭Thoughts: I’m probably being a bit lazy with my walking. I could probably walk a little bit further each day and cover a greater distance. Maybe I’ve been slacking off too much!

🏔️Challenges: Non-really. Towards the end of the day I did feel as I’ve had too much sun ☀️ . It was still baking at 6 pm.
💭Thoughts: ready pleased with how everything is going so far. Still really enjoying it. I will reach the halfway point tomorrow which will be really cool. 😎
