Challenges: the final 5 miles was all uphill and hard going. I was so pleased to have reached the albergue at the top. I was done in and ready for bed! My hips & glutes were also feeling a little sore - probably from the running over the past 2 days.

Highlights: the morning mountain route was stunning- so glad I took that instead of the road walking. Amazing views at the end of the day.

Total miles completed: 456/500 - this is slight wrong as I’ve got 72 miles to do to reach Santiago.

💰Costs: €15 bed, food resupply €38 (I think this is my most expensive yet! Don’t shop when you are hungry!!!) - (beef burger, broccoli, melon, avocado, onion, 2x tomato, blueberries đŸ«, 3x jelly sweets, gluten free biscuits and crackers, hummus, vegan spread, peanuts, crisps, bacon, eggs, dates, pack of chicken. = €53

Subjective feeling out of 10 on:

Enjoyment: 8/10

Fatigue: 4/10 - during the day 8/10 after I stopped.

Ease of terrain: 7/10

Challenges: having to walk 11 mins (0.5 miles) to the open supermarket and back again to get food. I was so tired and I hadn’t eaten since the am - felt quite low and thought I was going to pass out. Made it back to the albergue and cooked up a storm. Ended up eating too much and getting a stomach ache!

Highlights: 24 miles done ✅- did a few miles of running at the end. Another great day. The last 3 days and today have been my favourite part of the Camino so far. Love being in the mountains and going through the more remote sections.
